I just finished sewing this shirt last night. It’s made out of a lightweight polyester from the magical discount fabric warehouse, S.R. Harris. I think it was, like, $4/yard. It’s basically just a giant square, but it took me awhile to finish, as all the seams are french seams so the fabric won’t fray. It was supposed to look like a project from Sewing in a Straight Line, but ended up looking quite different. I’m happy with it anyway.
The jeans are a pair of jeggings I got at the Buffalo Exchange, and the boots were ordered off Ebay about 6 years ago.

Fatshion February (the 14th)
Sweater: Marshalls
Dress: Vintage. This is my go-to dress when I feel lazy in the morning. It zips in the front and has pockets, which is super awesome.
Tights: Betsey Johnson. They’re partially cashmere, and pretty unbelievably warm.
Shoes: Thrifted. I can’t decide if they look like cute hipster jazz shoes or just nun shoes…

Fatshion February (the 12th)
Shirt: Threadless
Skirt: Buffalo Exchange
Sweater: Thrifted. It’s full of holes and baggy as hell, but it’s also very fine, soft cashmere- it seriously feels like wearing a cloud. I will probably never get rid of it.
Boots: The same old TImberlands I wear all damn winter

Fatshion February, Feb. 6
Dress: Vintage
Cardigan: Marshalls, size L
Shoes: Nordstrom Rack, US size 9.5
Belt: MLK Fashion Plaza in Portland
It was so wonderfully warm and sunny out today, my 6.5 mile bike ride into work made me so happy. I wore my running pants over my tights for riding, but I actually started overheating. February in Minnesota has been remarkably easy so far. :)
